Pak Choi

Pak choi , also spelled bok choy or Chinese cabbage , is a leafy vegetable very popular in Asian cuisine, particularly in China. It belongs to the cruciferous family, just like cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. Pak choi is distinguished by its large, dark green leaves and crisp white stems.

This vegetable is prized for its crisp texture and subtly sweet flavor. It is often used in stir-fries, soups, broths, or steamed. Pak choi is rich in nutrients, including vitamins A, C, and K, as well as calcium and antioxidants. It is also low in calories, making it a popular ingredient in healthy diets.

There are different varieties of pak choi, including smaller versions called baby pak choi , which are tender and cook quickly.
