  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and prepare a cake tin by greasing it or lining it with baking paper.
  2. In a saucepan, gently heat the honey with the milk until the honey is melted.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, spices and salt.
  4. Add the milk and honey mixture, along with the egg, and mix until you obtain a smooth batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the tin and bake for about 45 minutes. Check for doneness with a knife: the blade should come out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before unmolding and serving.
