  1. Brown the chicken pieces in a pan with oil.
  2. In a saucepan, fry the onion until translucent, then add the ground walnuts and lightly toast them.
  3. Add the pomegranate juice and a little water, then simmer for 20 minutes until thickened.
  4. Add the chicken to the sauce, cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes. Adjust salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
