Ghee butter , originating from Indian cuisine and widely used in South Asia. It is made by heating butter until the water evaporates and the milk solids separate and are removed, leaving only the pure fat. Ghee than butter, making it ideal for high-temperature cooking.

Ghee naturally lactose and gluten free, as milk solids are removed during the clarification process. It is very popular in Indian cuisine for the preparation of curries, vegetarian dishes and even in baking. In addition to its culinary uses, ghee is also used in Ayurvedic practices for its supposed health benefits.
