Asia is the largest and most populous continent, with impressive cultural and culinary diversity. From India to China, Japan and Thailand, each country offers unique culinary traditions based on local ingredients like rice, vegetables, and spices. The richness of flavors, ranging from sweet to salty to spicy, reflects the diversity of Asian cultures and climates. In India, basmati rice, lentils and vegetables dominate, with dishes like dhal and curries. In Thailand, fragrant soups and curries are often served with jasmine rice. Japan offers rice-based dishes, such as sushi and sashimi, but also lots of vegetables. In Vietnam, Banh Cuon is a small pancake stuffed with meat and naturally gluten-free.
