  2. Cooking the potatoes: Add the potato pieces and bay leaf, then pour in the fish stock. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the potatoes are almost cooked.
  3. Adding the salmon: Stir the salmon cubes into the soup and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until the salmon is tender but still juicy.
  4. To make the soup creamy: Add the cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently and heat over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Finishing: Remove the bay leaf and add the chopped fresh dill before serving for a touch of freshness.
