  • 1 Tbsp chili sauce (Sriracha sauce or other)
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onions or green onions
  • 1 tbsp grated cheese (mozza, laughing cow, gruyere)
  • Butter or oil for cooking

    Prepare the rice cake: Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat. If you are using a pan, do not add oil initially, as the rice cake should remain dry and crispy.

    Spread the egg: Beat the egg in a small bowl. Place the rice cake in the hot pan, then brush the beaten egg over it. Spread the egg evenly over the entire surface.
