We had the opportunity to participate in these festivities and this meal several times during our stay in Singapore and we have excellent memories of it. In this salad, each ingredient has a special meaning, and the ritual of collective mixing overhead with chopsticks symbolizes the wish for an abundant year for all.
In a bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness or sourness to your preference. Reserve.
